FUSS Charity Cocktail Night 2026

On Friday night, we walked into a room full of young future surgeons, medical students and supporters who had chosen to spend their evening backing cranio families.

The Flinders University Surgical Society – FUSS hosted a cocktail night fundraiser for Craniofacial Australia and drum roll please…raised more than $2,000! 🎉

It was the conversations, the curiosity, the kindness that shone through. The genuine care shown by students wanting to understand the challenges faced by people living with craniofacial conditions and how they can make a difference. Their curiosity was palpable.

To the committee who organised the night, thank you. This is the third year running a fundraiser in support of the craniofacial community. You have made us feel welcome, valued and deeply supported from day one.

There was something really special about standing in a room of future medical professionals who care not just about surgery, but about people. About families and what happens outside the hospital walls too.

These community fundraisers keep us going. They help us support families when life feels overwhelming, fund research, improve care and remind us that there are good people out there who genuinely want to help.
